USTADI is the brand name for the Kenya Local Capacity Development Facility – K-LCDF, which is a joint initiative of SNV Netherlands Development Organisation and a Consortium of 20 other capacity development (CD) organizations in Kenya that seeks to improve the capacity development service environment though a market-embedded approach as a means of supporting the localization agenda and enhancing sustainability of capacity development services (CDS). USTADI intends to strengthen its governance structure by recruiting additional board members to its board.

The board will be expected to perform the following duties:

To ensure the overall direction, effectiveness and accountability of USTADI, is, well run and delivering the outcomes it was set up for
To provide strategic direction and establish policy and procedures for USTADI
To undertake Resource Mobilization activities for USTADI
To represent USTADI in relevant forums
Provide oversight support to the secretariat
To offer specific technical advice in areas such finance, development, marketing and proactively publicize and promote USTADI
To undertake monitoring visits to selected funded projects
To review the board and organizational performance on a regular basis

Interested persons must also be willing to commit their time and be available for at least 8-10 days a year for quarterly board and committee meetings, board development processes and Annual General Meetings. Board membership will be voluntary and not a salaried position.

2. Marketing, Communications and Media
