Participatory Governance Exchange

PGExchange logoPG Exchange is a global online platform for knowledge development, sharing and learning on participatory governance (PG). An initiative of CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation, the aim of the platform is to empower citizens to participate in processes of public decision-making that affect their lives. MSH is seeking candidates for an upcoming results-oriented five-year award to support health systems strengthening in Mozambique. The President’s Office – Finance, Economy and Development wishes to recruit a suitable candidate to fill this position. The Specialist will support the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar in facilitating the national efforts for the development management and aid effectiveness. Given that the donor coordination is supported by the Development Partners Group (DPG) Secretariat hosted in the UNDP Tanzania, the Specialist will work closely with the DPG Secretariat on issues related to donor coordination and dialogue with development partners in Zanzibar.

header-eldis-governance-assessmentsSince 2008 the Eldis project at IDS Knowledge Services has hosted an online resource library, The Eldis Governance Assessments dossier as part of a long-term partnership with the UNDP Global Programme on Democratic Governance Assessments. To mark the end of this collaboration Eldis collated a selection of documents from the library on to a CDROM. The disc contains over 200 resources from a range of different experts, institutions and organisations that work in the field of governance assessments. It is designed to provide detailed, practical information drawing upon evidence about what works, and identifying innovations in approaches, policy and practice. High level retreat for African mediators

Governance for Development is a new World Bank blog on governance and anti-corruption (GAC) that aims to provide a forum among Bank staff and the wider development community engaged in the governance endeavor for debate, reflection and experience-sharing. The blog links to the Governance & Anticorruption Knowledge and Learning Portal, the primary destination for GAC-related knowledge-sharing and learning at the World Bank Group.
