This new science view of the world asserts that relationships, not individuals, are the building blocks of the world, and that the world consists of "interconnected networks, where slight disturbances in one part of the system create major impacts far from where they originate". In this world, the "capacity to create solutions without traditional hierarchies or formal leadership" exists all around us.
