UNDP’s Bureau for crisis prevention and recovery and the Bureau for development policy (through its capacity development group) are initiating a global study on the UNDP’s experience in capacity development in post-conflict countries. The purpose of this study is to identify factors that hinder and/or facilitate capacity development efforts, and to assess the relevance of existing assessment tools.
