This toolkit identifies approaches to evidence-based policy that may be of value to developing countries. The approaches and tools presented are based on the assumption that the reader is a progressive policymaker, and one who is interested in utilising evidence-based policy – an approach that ‘helps people make well informed decisions about policies, programmes and projects by putting the best available evidence from research at the heart of policy development and implementation’.
