This book presents the proceedings of the 2nd Asian NGO Leaders' Dialogue that took place in March 2005. The dialogue focused on defining the concept of leadership in the midst of globalisation.
Part I of the book presents two case studies that serve as examples of innovative adapative leadership. The first is the personal story of Marissa Canacho Reyes, of CODE-NGO in the Philippines. The second story tells the life and achievements of Supachai Srisupa-aksorn of CULT, the leading national alliance of credit unions in Thailand.
Part II contains stories of leaders from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Japan and Taiwan.
