The authors draw from their experiences of researching the pan-African leadership development initiative "InterAction" to explore the manner in which participants use their understanding of leadership to facilitate beneficial social change in their communities.
Sponsored by the British Council and delivered in partnership with Questions of Difference and LEAD International, the InterAction programme seeks to transform Africa through the development of a new generation of leaders. The programme embraces African wisdom, acknowledging the strenghts and contributions of all participants and partners, uses a facilitative, discursive and experiential approach rather than a more didactic teaching based format.
