This Short Paper offers an introduction to the question of Leadership for Change. It complements and builds on the first Short Paper (which can be accessed through the Intro section of this resource corner).
The paper explores:
The different levels of leadership (personal, organisational and societal);
The challenges faced by elected local government representatives, and how they can respond with creative and resourceful leadership;
Leadership development in NGOs and the challenges facing NGOs;
Leading change in the wider society;
The competencies and tools to support leading for change.
