NOTE: This Resource Corner is currently under construction
This Capacity.org Resource Corner is dedicated to Evidence Based Learning and Communication in development cooperation. In recent years, more and more attention is given to this aspect of capacity development, as there is an increasingly felt need for people to learn more from what they do, and learn better.

The materials that are found on the page have featured in the context of the Pelican Initiative. The Pelican Initiative is a network that was launched in March 2005, following an earlier workshop that took place in Maastricht, the Netherlands, on the topic "How can we learn more from what we do?" The idea of this network was taken forward by a couple of organisations: the European Centre for Development Policy Management, Healthlink Worldwide, the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), UNICEF East-Africa and Bellanet. The network currently has around 400 members - development practitioners, policy makers, evaluation specialists, researchers - and this Resource Corner has been opened to share the outcomes of the network's exchanges with a wider public.
